Rare appellate ruling benefits Block & Leviton's clients

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a decision in favor of Block & Leviton's clients on July 23, 2021 in the Nikola Securities Class Action. The ruling clarifies that it can be appropriate for groups of lead plaintiff investors to team up to prosecute a securities class action, and that a Court cannot reject a group merely because of its status as a group.

Block & Leviton led the briefing in the appeal and is co-counsel in the case with the Pomerantz firm.
